    1969 Porsche 911 E RSR Evocation

Here we have am absolutely stunning car in the form of a 1969 Porsche 911 E that has been evolved many years ago to RSR looks. The car uses all steel arches and many original RSR features. It is important to note that this car is not a 'backdate' which has become the trend to transform later cars to earlier looks, but a genuine early car that evolved in period. Thus this car has all the patina one would expect from an early 70's 911 which in my opinion cannot be replicated in entirety.

Currently powered by a slightly 'breathed on' 3.2 unit with straight through pipes making the most incredible noise not too dissimilar from a 917! Considering the factory only produced 55 road going RSR's, this represents a rare opportunity to acquire a very similar experience, not to mention a sound investment for a fraction of the cost!

Imported by ourselves just last year from the US the car is now fully UK registered with all taxes paid and supplied with a fresh MOT.

Originally supplied by Ferrari Of New York but having spent most of its life in sunny California where is was serviced and maintained by Ferrari of Newport Beach California. It has covered just 40k miles and is supplied with a stamped service book in a Shedoni leather case.

This is the first edition of the F355 Spider launched in 2005 and originally supplied with the 2.7 Motronic engine management system. This system produced slightly more horse power than the 5.2 Motronic system that was used in later versions of the F355. It is a manual transmission 6 speed car, which in our opinion is how a true sports car should be.

The bodywork presents very well with noticeable marks to mention, the interior is also in good order, with just minimal wear to the drivers seat. We have just replaced all of the ''sticky plastics" with new upgraded materials, this is a common failing of F355 interiors, particularly in cars from warmer climates. The car has its original leather case tool kit intact with correct tools spare belt etc. The car drives and performs as it should with the added bonus of a Tubi exhaust system that enhances that Ferrari F355 soundtrack ..to die for! A sound investment you can enjoy driving, listening to and enjoy watching its value soar!

A wonderful example of a certain future classic, the R230 series Mercedes SL500.

Any car that can make a Porsche 911 Cabrio look a touch dated has to be very special indeed, but the Mercedes SL manages it easily. Shedding its image as the weapon of choice for the chunky-chained leather-complexioned boulevardier has been surprisingly easy. Used examples are by no means inexpensive but they do represent good value for money when one considers the excellence of the product on offer.

Our car has been in our possession for nearly 9 years and never missed a beat. It has full AMG styling, panoramic glass roof, a must have option in one of these, heated and cooled electrically operated seats with memory. Electronically adjustable suspension, Keyless Go, satellite navigation, zenon lamps, cruise control and not forgetting its party piece..a retractable folding hard top.

This luxurious 'Highline' specification car includes in its options, air conditioning, electric tilt and slide sunroof, electric sports memory leather seats and Highline extended leather trim. In addition to the 'Highline' spec, all of these UK Motorsport Edition cars had black 'Shadowline' trim, option 129 Motorsport Edition pack of M- Tech suspension, M-Tech steering wheel and graduated tinted windscreen. Our car has covered 116k and although not supported with any service records and therefore not warranted, we believe correct from its MOT history and its low ownership. The car certainly drives very well and having driven over a 1000 miles in it without any issues, I am confident the mileage is accurate.
The body is perfect having benefitted from a recent re-spray, the interior is also in very nice condition and has a very comfortable cabin environment.

    1966 Mercedes SL230 'Pagoda'

    Style Icon!

    1966 Mercedes 230SL Pagoda

The 230 SL made its debut at the prestigious Geneva Motor Show in March 1963, where Mercedes-Benz Technical Director Prof. Fritz Nallinger introduced it as follows: "It was our aim to create a very safe and fast sports car with high performance, which despite its sports characteristics, provides a very high degree of traveling comfort".
The W 113 was the first sports car with a "safety body," based on Bela Barényi's extensive work on vehicle safety: It had a rigid passenger cell and designated crumple zones with impact-absorbing front and rear sections built into the vehicle structure. The interior was "rounded," with all hard corners and edges removed, as in the W 111 sedan.
The W 113 was also the first Mercedes-Benz with radial tires.
Recently imported from Florida with all UK taxes paid, this is an absolutely beautifully presented classic Mercedes SL, which has been subject to a complete body restoration mainly of new panels and although aesthetically retains the classic looks of an iconic Pagoda, this car has been enhanced with a more powerful V8 motor, giving the car better performance and overall driving pleasure. It is supplied with both hard and soft tops.
This presents the perfect opportunity to enjoy all the style of this iconic Mercedes convertible at a price one would expect to pay for a restoration required example. For the purists among you, consider this as an already restored body in which to install correct running gear at a fraction of the build cost.
With restored Pagoda prices reaching dizzy heights in excess of 150k and basket cases at 25k, this represents an unrepeatable opportunity.
This car is available for viewing, located in our showroom in Horsham, Sussex.

    61-63 'Bullet Birds'

    History

    61-63 “BULLET BIRDS”

The third generation of Ford’s iconic Thunderbird appeared in 1961 with a radical change in styling from the previous “Square bird” second generation cars that whilst having enjoyed great sales success had divided opinion with their individual look
which was so different to the original two seat first generation cars.

The change in styling from the late 50’s to the early 60’s is perfectly demonstrated with the “Bullet Birds” new glamorous and sleek lines that really hit the mark and these third generation T-birds were just the epitome of elegance and style.

The third Thunderbird was bigger, longer, wider lower and one of the great signature designs of the 1960s.

The concept that Ford had for the Thunderbird was “Personal Luxury”

The most distinctive feature of the 1961 to 1963 Thunderbirds was the highly touted 'Swing Away' steering wheel.
With the transmission in the park position the steering wheel would slide approximately 18 inches (460 mm) to the right allowing the driver to exit the vehicle easily.

Other innovations included a floating rear view mirror. Common on all automobiles produced today, this feature was first found on 1961 Thunderbirds.

Depending on variable options Thunderbirds for 1961 could be purchased with options like air conditioning, power windows, power seats, AM radio, fender skirts and white wall tyres.

Stylistically related to the also new-for-1961 Lincoln Continental — the resemblance
is most apparent in the grille, headlights and shared cowl — the 1961 Thunderbird was constructed around a new unibody
structure with A-arms and coil springs making up the front suspension and the solid axle on leaf springs. With clean flanks and a nose that came to a sharp point, the car had an almost ballistic urgency and "Bullet Bird" was the name that stuck.

Power came in the form of Ford’s mighty 390 cu in V8 FE big block motor fitted to a three speed automatic transmission producing 300 hp or 345 hp if fitted with the “M” code triple two barrel carburettor set up and higher compression heads from the 406 cu in Galaxie engine.

Buyers had the choice of coupe, convertible and even a roadster model, ( the roadster came with a fitted cowel/tonneau to cover the rear seats )

     Inside,
the new T-Bird took the concept of a wraparound cockpit to its logical extreme with a dashboard that curved at its ends to flow into the door panels. A new grille texture and three hash marks on each door were the most apparent changes to the 1963 Thunderbird line which otherwise carried forward intact — including the Landau and Sports Roadster.

A total of 55 cars were equipped with M-Code option and of those 37 were Sports Roadsters. The M-Code Sports Roadster is generally considered the most collectible Thunderbird made since the original '55 to '57 models.

1961 saw new and much sleeker styling for the Ford Thunderbird. Sales were strong, if not quite up to record-breaking 1960, at 73,051 including 10,516 convertibles. A new, larger 390 cu in (6.4 L) FE-series V8 was the only engine available (in 1961). The Thunderbird was 1961's Indianapolis 500 pace car, and featured prominently in US President John F. Kennedy's inaugural parade, probably helped along by the appointment of Ford executive Robert McNamara as Secretary of Defence.

A stunningly beautifully presented 1988 Mercedes 560SL roadster.

The 107 series model was launched in 1971 and produced for 18 years until being discontinued in 1989. The range was offered in Europe in the guise of the 280SL,350SL,380SL,420SL,500SL and for the US market only the 560SL.

In the 560SL, Mercedes got it all just right, offering essentially bullet-proof reliability, satisfying power, and aggressive good looks. 1961 Bentley S11.. Sorry Now Sold..another Required

Let your mind conjure the shape an opulent Limousine and this is what it should look like. Today's current Rolls and Bentley models take their lines from this car. In our humble opinion, the original version is always the best..in other words we would rather be collected at the airport in one of these than a new one ..more class old boy !

We discovered this right hand drive Bentley in Florida where it had been kept in a private collection on a very grand estate.

It has been lovingly cherished and restored to a very high standard last year but still maintaining much of its original patina.

These cars were hand built of only the finest quality material by craftsmen. More expensive new than the same vintage Aston Martin DB4 which have values today in excess of 6 figures, by comparison, these Bentley's are an absolute bargain. Trust us, one day the world will wake up and realise how undervalued these cars are and prices will sore to dizzy heights..be quick!
